In the early 2010's there was a regular schedule with Manu Katché, a French drummer on Arte, a french/german TV-station, named One Shot Not (sorry french, but contains a list of all shows he invited artists to)
I picked some of the tracks as video - first try with that, so sorry, you cannot see the videos directly here, [the problem lies somewhere on anonfiles renaming them from .mp4 to _mp4 so the <video> tag doesn't work well ...] but I hope you enjoy them as as first try (or flush) followed by more in the posts to come (i recorded every show, so there are around 24, this came from 2 selected files)
My fav here is the "Slippery Slope" with The Do. I suggest having an eye on the drummers deep smile, when Manu hits the second drum set to start "talking" with him. I love that moment as the band as well.
Also love at first sight: Anna Calvi. This was the first opportunity watching her and her work, including some beloved Bowie Tributes to follow.
Note: I've recorded the shows via satellite. The results were a .mpeg and a .mp2 file to mux, so i kept after muxxing the .mp2 files (@256kbs). Converting them would be: decode them to .wav and then recode to .mp3 - means there would be a loss in quality, so i don't offer them in .mp3.
