I remember well, when I first heard the "Torch" record with its furious "Mahalo", one of my fav songs that year. My american "Brother in Blood" (a joke on Karl May's Winnetou books) - he stayed in Germany after service here in Spangdahlem, got married and is as much as I am a bluegrass-afficionado, so we go sometimes to shows together - and I were really enthusiastic hearing the band would have a concert near in a little bar/pub at Castle Savetzy.

Since then he warns about me "Don't dare to go with him to bad shows, he expresses his dissapointment very, very, very loudly!". What happend? The band came without George Patsos ... and what's left of the Mark 1 version of "Honeytribe" was a very low playing blues-cover band that really was'nt what we expected (and payed for).

So my "Boooohs" & "Fire the bassman" cries filled a bit the little room (less then 100 folks in it) and I ended liking "Honeytribe". Why the hell George quit that band?

But The Mark 1 with George Patsos, their first record and the show at the Rockpalast 2007 stayed. There is a non downloadable video of the show on the WDR Rockpalast-Site. I hope there's no geoblocking as well

so enjoy Honeytribe Mark 1 with George Patsos
